Weddings in Temecula
Plan the night backward from the music cutoff.
Temecula weddings mostly happen at wineries along the Temecula Valley wine trail, plus a few estates, ranches and golf clubs. Vineyard ceremonies at golden hour are the draw. The detail that shapes everything else is when the music has to stop.
Outdoor music end times
Many Temecula wineries end outdoor events or amplified music around 10 p.m. Some let music run later indoors, and a few properties allow later hours. Riverside County also has rules for outdoor amplified music in wine country that venues build into their own policies. Confirm your venue's exact end time and whether it applies outdoors, indoors or both, before you lock the timeline.
With a 10 p.m. cutoff and a 5 p.m. ceremony, the reception is shorter than most couples assume once dinner, toasts and first dances are in. We help you plan it so that dinner runs tight, toasts happen during the meal, and the dance floor opens with real time left on the clock. Our Temecula winery guide goes deeper on this.
Ceremonies in the vines
Vineyard ceremony sites are often a long walk from the nearest outlet. We bring battery powered speakers so we do not have to run cable through the rows, mic the officiant with a lavalier, and keep a handheld for readers and vows. Afternoon breezes are common in the valley, which is one more reason for close speaker placement.
Hot days, cool nights
Summer afternoons in Temecula get hot, and evenings cool off quickly once the sun drops behind the hills. A ceremony timed close to sunset is kinder to guests. After dark, string lights alone leave a dance floor dim, so our dance floor lighting, or uplights on the barrel room walls or the trees, gives the reception a focal point.
Weekend logistics
Wineries are busy with tasting room visitors on weekends, and load-in may be limited until public hours wind down. Ask your coordinator for the vendor arrival window and we will schedule around it.
Booths
Make every hour count.
When the night is short, a roaming booth beats a line. Our attendant catches guests between courses and on the dance floor.
FAQ
Temecula questions.
Is there a travel fee for Temecula?
Usually, yes. Travel is included within 75 miles of Los Angeles, and most Temecula venues are a bit beyond that. Past 75 miles, travel is $2 per mile one way, counted from Los Angeles to your venue and shown on your quote.
Our winery stops music at 10 p.m. Which package do we need?
Count backward from the cutoff. If you want sound for the ceremony and cocktail hour as well, The Full Wedding covers up to 6 hours, which fits most winery schedules.
Can you play music in the vineyard without power?
Yes. We use battery powered speakers for ceremony sites away from outlets.
Can we keep partying after the winery's cutoff?
Only where your venue allows it. Some properties permit later music indoors. If yours does, you can add time at the extra-hour rate of $550.
